*DECEMBER 2002 updates for two pole transformers. 1) Perth, Western Australia - 300kVA, 11 kV/440V cable entry 3 ph H pole mounted transformer located in Elsegoode St, near between Lancaster St and Crawford Rd (thanks to Robert Kerrigan from Western Power). 2) Another view. 2) Perth again, this one of a 300kVA; 11 kV/440V aerial connected 3 ph H pole mounted Transformer located in Elsegoode St, near between Boulton St and Harold St. Thanks again Rob. 3) Another view. 4) Somewhere in the US. 5) TXU transformer located near Boisdale in Gippsland. 8)Queensland transformer, Noosa DIFFERENT DESIGNS Different parts of Melbourne have varying pole styles, due to the different power companies, which since they changed over and amalgamated, all new poles are the same. Below are three different areas with varying styles. 1) Two pole transformer, Ivanhoe View 1 View 2 2) Single pole tranformer, Ivanhoe 3) Reservior 4) Footscray (two transformers in one photo, bonus). 5) Two pole transformer, Gunnedah, northern New South Wales (Thanks to Lauchlan A Sims) 6) Two pole transformer in Faifield. Note the new crossarm is the same as any other new crossarm in Victoria. Also notice the wooden beams used instead of steel to support transformer. 7) A single pole transformer, Fairfield. 8) Another two pole 9) The only 2-pole transformer I could find in Box Hill area.
